The Teacher's Opinions

What teachers think about the program

After the training in schools, we contacted some referees in order to give the teachers some feedbacks. This is useful for evaluating the impact of the proposed program and for its improvement. The first set of responses have been arrived and they are inspiring. Below are some of them.

Offline + Online= Real life

If you would not in real life, why allow it in your digital life? Responsible digital citizenship depends on the person and the person is unique. Everything we do affects us, whatever the platform, whether on the street or on a computer ... the receiver is and will always be the person.

This announcement by "protejeles" shows exactly how risky behavior on the Internet also affects us offline.

Empowering teenagers for a safer usage of Social Media in the family and in the schools.

The project began last February with the kick-off meeting at the headquarters of Davide.it in Venaria Reale (Turin, ITALIA). The project aims to provide an "education system" for proper use of Social Media by teenagers in schools.

The project aims to promote the rights of teenagers through a training program in the use of the media. The project wants to educate, not only teens but also parents and educators. At the end of the program the results will be assessed through a research. The project will develop "Safe Social Media" during the next two years in various phases.

In this first workstream we have the following objectives:

  • Analysis of the context and best practices.
  • Search of available scientific data and reports on situation and prevention of violence in the social media.
  • Analysis of theory and findings from research.
  • InterMedia and the other partners want to thank you for your interest. Suggestions of content and best practices are very welcome for testing and setting up an "Educational System " in order to provide applicable training materials in 50 schools in Italy and Spain next year.

If you have interesting materials and you want to collaborate with the project, send your suggestions to info@intermediaconsulting.org
